Along with our move…we are re-branding ourselves with some organic colors. The job Tracy Feno from Inspired-Interiors has been doing in the new studio space is beyond fabulous—I’m so excited to show it off!

What will it look like?

Shhhhhh….we can’t tell until the new year…

Me at the Monticello Holiday sale stuffing a random architectural object into my mini van…not sure where it’s going,

but all I know is that it is Fab. U. Lous.

I realize this seems a bit hodge-podge…but even I can see it all coming together with the touch of Tracy’s magic fingers….just fabulous!

We’re moving out of downtown Camas on the 14th and will be ready to roll in early January (think good thoughts for me b/c I’m tired just thinkin’ about it).

Recent dog faves

Fell in love (HARD) for this little guy, Vito. He’s a Toy Fox Terrier—6.5 lbs! He had little, tiny pencil legs. Very, very well-trained (by our resident dog whisperer, Megan Kate).

Two of the most gorgeous Standards you’ve ever seen—having their own love affair with a ball…chased it all over the yard before our studio section of the session…got ‘em good and tired before we put them on the seamless paper.

with such lovliness coming into our studio for our senior sessions?

Miss D has a fresh, sophisticated look with the personality to match.

Our fave store at the studio for h.s. senior (and 38 year-old women too, I might add) gear is Anthropologie, of course. I am a slut for this store—good heavens—such original, fun, colorful gear. Love it, love it, love it.

Via.

When I was in Manhattan this summer, I ventured into Anthro for what seemed like hours with my NY pal, Kathy. It is the mothership for me, seriously! I wish we could dress all of our female clients in this stuff. Their displays are out of this world.

Miss Becca and her golden Kate. I will be sending it in the mail to you, my friend! Congrats!

This image is one of my favorite golden images of all time. Shane was amazingly well-trained. He let us balance these on his face for the longest time. I love goldens so much.

Junk Yard shoot

I’ve been drying by Todd’s on Fourth Plain for ages fantisizing about setting up my gear and getting some shots among the old cars. It’s a strange dream, I realize, but a dream nonethless! These adorable Camas High cheerleaders were such good sports as we climbed around the junk in search of great photo opps. Their coach, Brandy, was so great and obviously well-loved by her crew—the fact that she even agreed to do it there was proof of how cool she was! I really would love to have a session with a senior at dusk in this location—if you haven’t had your senior portraits done yet, give me a call and let’s set this up—I’m thinking formal dress, standing on top of a car with hair flowing—-very W magazine–love it!

Miss Musician, a beautiful senior

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

I loved working with Becca this summer to capture her senior pictures. Her mom and I had a blast at Cottonwood beach with a big ‘ole industrial chair in the water. It turns out that she is quite a clarinet player and has been taking lessons at Beacock Music for years…I thought, “hmmmm….a perfect new addition to our wall at Beacock.” We don’t have a clarinet up there! Plus a gorgeous girl behind it. After working with her that day I was thinking I would be pretty lucky if my own girls turned out like her—confident, well-spoken, fun, able to laugh easily and just a wonderful person to spend time with.
